The hotel boasts a beautiful outdoor swimming pool that offers expansive views of the stunning dam and lush plains surrounding the area. Our air-conditioned room was spacious, elegantly decorated, and included a charming little seating area - perfect for unwinding after a day exploring the local countryside. The best part? The breakfast! Their delectable selection included local cheeses and the most scrumptious carrot cake, alongside other fresh delights. What stood out was the warm and welcoming staff who made us feel right at home. I appreciated their attentive service throughout our stay. On top of that, we indulged in some regional dishes at their dining room, indulging in the rich Alentejo gastronomy that included hearty chorizos and açordas. Whether you're traveling solo or with friends like I did, Herdade da Diabrória is a serene gem that deserves more visitors. I'm already planning to return for another slice of their delicious pumpkin compote!
